SHAPER - Smart Audio Destroyer - AUv3 Effect - Demo,Review & Tutorial

This has been out for a while but I like it for destruction in a nice way.

And its very kind to the CPU too, five of these and a load of other stuff didn't go above 60% ish I think, so that's cool for my Air2.

  • This is one of my favourite 'Audio Trashers' but unfortunately it does have some issues when freezing audio in Cubasis (2.6) and requires the usage of one of compatibility modes and I always forget which one when it's time to freeze :)

I did send an e-mail to to the developer a while back but have not heard anything back...
After ~3 months of 'silence' I usually give up and stick with the app in it's current state or simply delete it.
This one however is too good to delete...

  • Yup yup, this is very handy for making BM3 sample fodder. It crashes while automating though and I am unable to unload it from a session without crashing. Not a big deal for me though as I find it one of those extreme fx that is best used by going straight to audio then mining the gold afterwards.

  • Wow - nice FX.
I was SO excited to see a resonator - (which it aint) why not call it what it is - a delay?
Its like calling an amp simulator a reverb...

Some pretty cool moments there Doug. I got Front 242 flashbacks! :)
