Wow, Thor is kicking iMS's ass so much in this poll it's not even funny! I think this might be due to iMS's anachronistic interface, it just kills all the fun for me when I look at it. I got the iPolysix exactly for this reason.
@Michael_R_Grant there are some articles about Thor on the propellerheads website, they explain all the oscillator types and then show how to generate sounds. About 20 of them in total, but they're not videos...
I'd like to see some tutorials for WaveMapper and WaveGenerator at some point too. Both of them have so much going on that I've never really mastered.
@raz thats exactly why I decided to do the tutorial. This will be a ckmprehensive guide to the patch panel only. I will refer people to the ither MS20 tutorials out there, but there isn't one that truly TEACHES the patch panel. There are just ones that talk about it in ways that assumes a bit of knowledge on the part of the viewer (although, mine will assume the viewer understands basic concepts of synthesis. But I want to be concise)
Great...then get on with it, then !!!!
I am I am. I have my plan mapped out so I'm not just hap-hazardly jumping around the app with no direction or purpose.
jeez these things take time people :-)
There are some tutorial for Thor...in Reason.

Doug would have done 3 by now!
Dudes, there are already tons of videos for Thor. https://www.google.com/search?q=thor+synth+site:youtube.com&tbm=vid (pages of 'em!).
Cassini on the other hand has only a few reviews and the dev's very short (but very good!) deep dives into specific features https://www.google.com/search?q=cassini+synth+site:youtube.com&tbm=vid
@uglykidmoe If you're excited about iMS20, then the vids will be great. Looking forward to them. Under 10mins or bust though! You can do it.
@Ian doug is great and has an established workflow. This is a first for me. And its not a demo, its a tutorial. Very different things.
Love @thesoundtestroom
Funny, I watch 10 mins of a Doug demo, and I watch 20 mins of a tutorial, and I learn more how-to from Doug.
C'mon guys, give the guy a chance. He's doing us all a favour.

I'm really sorry if you took my comment in a -ive way - it wasn't meant as a put-down for the Ugly Kid, it was in praise of Doug's expertise; I'm really looking forward to see what UKM can achieve.

You have my total support (FWIW)
@Yan Not you specifically, just thought we could all be more positive generally.
Are you going to do any face shots on this UKM? I've always wanted to see if you live up to your pseudonym. ;-)
lol. no problem, although I did have a video a while back where I played a Ween song as an apology to Ryan of iOS mars. you could clearly see my face in that.
@yan That's exactly why I'm undertaking this. I dont want to go over people's heads, I don't want to fall short of truly educating either. It can be a difficult balance, and I don't think a perfect balance actually exists.
Thank you all for your support! You won't be disappointed.
.
I'm not trying to be negative...I just like giving people a hard time.
I must have missed that vid @ukm, but I doubt you're ugly anyway. Your posts have always been very insightful and offering the tuts further dispels that possibility.
@funjunkie we're all beautiful on the inside
Well...most of you! ;-)

You've been peeking again...
@uglykidmoe you removed the video huh. Lol.
My vote for TC-11
I'm excited for it @uglykidmoe seems like we've all been spoiled by apps immediately boarding Audiobus and/or implementing feature requests! Things take time, especially doing a good knowledgable tutorial.

I did?? I did! i was doing channel clean-up a little while back and removed it without thinking about it. I could probably repost... I think I still have the raw files.
I still vote for iMS 20. Now that I've picked up all of the aforementioned synths in the poll, iMS 20 has the smallest preset bank, and the trickiest interface/routing/modular thing, that I could use some serious support with this. I will look up existing tuts, but that's my 2¢.
Tweaks in Thor and iPolysix, even Cassini can yield exciting results with relative ease. With iMS 20, I don't have that lux at all. But it sounds so bitchin!
Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum here, but have been using Audiobus since it first came out and absolutely love it! I vote for both Thor and iMS-20 (I don't have Cassini), and Animoog!! I've actually been creating some really cool modulations in Animoog, it's such a great synth! As far as other things related to IOS music, I will be releasing two (2) EPs of music this year, with the first being in Spring, and the second in late summer. Both are being completely recorded on the iPad with some help from my old iPhone 3GS that I kept just to use for music production, as well as external controllers, etc. I plan on giving both albums away for free, just wondering if there is a place on the forum where I can post about them so people can check them out? I'm waiting patiently for a decent mastering app to come out, I may just bite the bullet and buy Auria but I really don't need the app for $50 (I'm on a tight budget). Cheers, and uglykidmoe, thank you for taking the time out to create some tutorial vids! Much appreciated!
Would like to recommend the tutorials in the Caustic channel, I assume it is the dev who made them.
They are brilliant and explain in a very easy to follow way a lot that also applies in general and hence to many other apps.
+1 on Audulus

It may not have been your programming skills, I found Cassini to be fairly narrow in sound palette too.
