Very low cpu too
All IceGear’s synths are amazing. I’m just finishing up a Laplace heavy track and it’s been a pleasure working with it
@breilly About a month i ago, i published a free soundbank for Lorentz with 57 presets - have fun playing and tweaking
Ha probaly my next purchase. Really appreciate a developers consistancy👍🏼
Long time favorite.....
Agreed, IceGear puts out really interesting and optimized synths.
Oh really? Gonna check this out.
Is there a thread for Low CPU AUs recommendations?
Start one.
My current passion is taking the "go to" sounds from the Apps I own and making snapshots of them using AudioLayer to make a custom library of sounds.
I'm hoping to get an AU with just enough samples make it stable for projects. Still early days on the effort but I have a few AL Instruments that really work for me. It's a DIY Rompler project.
I have been harvesting Korg's Modules for their best sounds.
I suspect it will all break but it's fun trying to make something stable and functional.
Maybe they will do another sale on Halloween or Black Friday. I think I will finally pick my copy up then... still not really convinced, but I hear so much good stuff about it lately
its a nice synth albeit a bit thin sounding for an analog emulation. thats probably due to the resonator and that its supposed sound metallic. I use it for its low cpu and user friendly interface. probably my favorite feature of icegear synths is the ui.
Agreed. I like the metallic sound, but ya, not the one I go to for analog emulation.
