Inspired! Thanks vpich
Like this 🙂 Yep, this is one of the great ways SC can be used as an effects box, the live recording feature is mind blowing 🤯
That's just fantastic.
Really opens up SC for me, which previously was a kind of interesting distraction. What is the routing for this?
Super simple, just whatever instrument on one track and bussing to spacecraft In an fx slot in another track. The rest of the stuff is not needed. I find that using other notes than just c will make changing chords more difficult so i’ll just play c in different octaves and play the piano alone. Using midi mpe in spacecraft settings.
Thank you.
And do you need to enable record within Space Craft?
So talented, so musical, beautiful.
Well to get the notes in yes. Just hit record and grab 2-3 c octaves and then stop recording. After that soacecraft just looks at your midi notes from the controller and follows along. In settings you have to set up the midi as mpe. If i’m leaving out steps let me know.
Just lovely... Never thought of that approach but makes sense given how SC has delightfully progressed. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks @AndyPawlak @[Deleted User] @Kandavu
So many discoveries with these apps.
Thank you @vpich for this beautiful tip!
One thing i don’t understand though: why don’t you insert spacecraft as an fx in the same bus?
Just habit, i always bus delays and reverbs, but yeah in this case i guess it would be tidier to keep all on one channel.
Thank you. Very relaxing semi-repetitive music, bravo !
@vpich truly wonderful. Thanks as always for the inspiring work you do 👊🏼™️
