ibassisit midi in? does it work??

i’m trying to play ibassist via midi from Xequence. however when i open ibassist it only shows network session as a possible midi input source. am i missing something ?

    You can send to iBassist from Xequence by selecting iBassist as the destination, without needing to select anything in iBassist (this is called its "virtual port"). But as far as I know this is only for chord detection, not to play notes. I don't think you can play notes via midi in iBassist.
