Is there a way to have different version numbers of the same app on ipad?

Reason being I updated to the latest version of algoriddim djay and the timestretch is sounding weird.Deleted the latest version and re installed the ipa from previous version The annoying thing is the latest version keeps appearing as an update in app store
Or is there a way to block updates from appearing on app store?

    if you managed to get the older version from a backup and the update shows up on the appstore - then dont update it - the update will always be there though - but if it auto downloads the update, just disable that feature via settings.

    but no different version of apps on the same ipad as far as i know [maybe via jailbreak?] - unless its one of those apps that have different iphone/ipad ones, then you can have the iphone version alongside the ipad one.

    I guess apps go by app ID and so, if they have different IDs, yes you can

    It's the same reason when we download the free version of an app and later upgrade to the pro version (IAP), the free version attains/unlocks all the features of the pro version but the icon still displays as free version forever :neutral: because of the ID of the free app we originally downloaded. We can also buy the pro version additionally (if we are crazy) so we have a free version that is fully unlocked and also the paid version.
