Its always odd to find a decent looking app that hasnt been talked about here, so used to getting my info here that makes me think they aren't legitimate somehow!

I didn’t find rest of the app nearly as polished as that particular screen shot, and it appears to use a two track system for AUv3 instruments (one to host the plugin and and another for the MIDI track that drives it.)

It does look like a lot of work has gone into it. Just a bit scattered.

They have a desktop app as well but I’m invested in the workflow on BM3.

  • I have nTrack 9 on my iPhone, and it’s pretty good! I’ve pasted audio in and done some arranging in it and it’s been fun - it’s very easy to drag a track to loop it, and change volume levels of each clip

The only issue I’ve had is sometimes the tracks don’t line up when zoomed out - eg 4 tracks that are 32bars long, visually the last track appears longer - but when you zoom in/playback it’s ok. I haven’t reported that to the dev yet tho

It’s also universal and can be used in portrait and landscape mode

  • its also quite cheap. not really interested as ive just learned cubasis the last few months. but it looks alright.

  • George or Martha?
