Well, two things. Our body is constantly renewing and regenerating cells, brain cells are constantly dying, etc. Given a short while, you’re someone else by definition.
Secondly, are we someone else when we’re dreaming? There’s very little continuity and quite different agency and no persistence. I think it is a mistake to assign the same ‘self’ to both.
@u0421793 in these changing times, i think 'death is statistically popular' may be a truer phrase
all my 'incontrolol' Life, i've carryed and dropping a range of beautiful old keyboards like a skin (i still have a RS09 in the 'war is over' trunk
but 've never made computer music (having earnt my bank numb-ers through programming)
so finding iPad music really was one of few '*@me changers'
my interction with it is changing though...
from plaything to working instrument
tcdata and kraft SHINe withPOWER, a power i'm yet to touch beyond the 'wow!'

one of the wonderful things about playing on the screen, is the glissando (for me), and also, the sheer range of keys and notes i'm able to play at once!
And to say, i agree with much of what @LinearLineman said in a previous thread, but didn't want to reignite the thread
and it may says trite, but...
breathe and feel really works for me (especially combined with the 🎶

@simonnowis , glad Gurdjieff still lives in the hearts and minds of some. Quite the mystical character. Ouspensky put it all down in a somewhat more understandable way. Quite the community here.
@robosardine Jackie Mason! Strangely he was slated to be a rabbi but took Talmudic logic and pushed it over the edge, which is what we see here. Perfectly logical and hysterical. Great delivery, too. Just sorry he talks too fast for my Turkish wife to understand. It sure would explain something about Jews to her.
