Do all iOS DAW support the Apple pencil?
I ask me if you own an iPad and the pencil if all support it f.e. for editing midi etc, writing automations and stuff.

The pencil generally works everywhere but unless an app explicitly supports it, it'll simply generate touch events so for an App it looks like a finger is touching the screen. Hope that helps.
Yeah, in general the pencil will act as a precision fingertip with your hand more out of the way. "Supporting" the Pencil usually means some combination of pressure sensitivity, angle detection, and palm rejection. As far as I know, which admittedly isn't far, no DAWs take advantage of the advanced features.
The great thing about the pencil is it reduces arm movements. Just by adjusting your wrist like a wand you can tap on controls faster and naturally you get more glide without the smudge.
Apps that “support” the pencil tend to recognise the difference between your finger and the pencil so with pdf apps the finger is used to navigate the pages whereas the pencil will open up annotation features.
If daws were to support the pencil that would be the same principle for example on the piano roll I would hope.
Thank´s. So i thought about it since a trackpad or mouse is a lot more precise but the pencil could come in here.
So it seems sad that there isn´t more support about it on iPad from DAW developers.
In general it seems a lot time goes by until "new" features get supported on iOS.
I just tested the new pencil on a new iPad and it felt really nice but i wondered if it is more than just a finger then.
The double tap feature would come in nicely here as well. I do wish the pencil has 1-2 buttons and then could really works like a mouse.
Of course a kind of monophonic 3D touch with the pencil is nice as well (so almost like the force touch track pad).
Many people are crying for mouse support on iPads but i think the pencil could be even better and (maybe) more precise here.
Some global gestures for fingers does NOT work with Apple Pencil...
