Audiointerface for iPad Pro 2018

edited November 2018 in Other

Hello,

Last Friday i bought an iPad Pro 2018 11“.

In my „project Studio“ i am currently using an rme interface (digiface usb) and a ada 8200 Connected to a MacBook 2010. I want to replace this Setup with the iPad.

An recommenddations for an usb c Audio Interface ?

Requirements:

  • 8 Inputs
  • headphone output
    -Midi
  • in possible usb powered

Thanks !

Comments

  • Apple has a usb c to usb3/hdmi/power in dongle and just plain usb c to usb 3 dongle. So you dont have to get a usb c interface

  • Since you bought a Pro, try Apogee

  • Are there any interfaces that have 8 inputs that run on just USB power? They all seem to have a power supply

Hmm okay... i think Apogee Interface will be to much.

A 48 kHz Interface May be enough. I Need only 8 line Inputs without dsp Or something..because i mainly use some Hardware synths here. (DSI ob6, Arturia drumbrute, arturia microbrute,re-303)

In my „Main Studio“ im am using the rme digiface connected to 32 xlr in/out.

I want to use the iPad also for Guitar effects. My engl Guitar Tube amp has 2 effect Channels. So form factor is a Thing.

Something like zoom 44 wolle be Great..But it has only 4 Inputs.

    Edit:
I think i will use a combination of umc1820 and the small zoom Interface. Should fullfill all my Needs.
