Usb C to usb 3 adapter with headphone jack

Hi!
I just want to connect my midi controller to the new ipad pro and play and listen to what I play at the same time. I can’t find a apple dongle that can do that. Thanks

  • You need one of these when they become available...

  • Or this one https://www.hypershop.com/collections/usb-type-c/products/hyperdrive-solo-hub-for-usb-c-macbook-pc-devices
Works the same but has 2 USB port and doesn’t sit in the center of the device. See pic below

  • @Samu thank you. I hope there will more alternatives soon. I really don’t like that dongle. It’s a shame to spend so much effort to make the ipad thinner and lighter and more portable. But then you have to connect that big ugly dongle to make it usable. It’s less light and portable without a headphone jack because you have to have the damn dongles

  • @YZJustDatGuy thanks. Still too big and clumsy for my taste. I guess more and more dongles are on their way.

Next step then would be to use BT for the Midi-Controller and apples own USB-C->3m5mm but then you wouldn't be able to charge the darn thing at the same time. All in all Apple messed things up this time and someone should be fired...
