PHASE THREE by Audio Damage - Running as an AUv3 in Stagelight

Another great App from Audio Damage which is a detailed model on the classic and much loved Mutron Bi-Phase.

  • Surprised this got passed over. It's out now, and it's very good. On the higher end of the AD effects in my opinion, though they are all good.

  • @oat_phipps Yes, I really like this Phaser it sounds a lot like the original Bi-Phase.

  • I like this one. Quite a rich effect for a phaser!

  • That's this afternoon's latte swapped out....

  • I got it and like this very much, but I must say that phasers tend to be low on the list of my hierarchy of needs for effects. Perhaps this feeling is shared by others. If we're talking non-distortion effects, my totem goes like this (highest to lowest):

    echo/delay
    reverb
    filter stuff (includes wah-ish things)
    chorus
    tremolo
    phaser
flanger (By far the most useless for me unless I'm aiming for something ironic.)

Having a good one makes me appreciate it more. The Holderness one from back in the day is good too. I really like them a lot on drums. But, yes, in the scheme of things, phaser priority is definitely below the delay/chorus/reverb staples.

  • I was waiting to hear this one... waiting for hours.

    Cool Beans indeed.

Worth my $1 into Patreon to keep you working for the community, Doug after Apple took you off their influencer dole.

  • Very happy with this one. phasers are high on my list. I've got delays and verbs up the wazoo - though I'd still spring for a decent convolution Auv3.
