IDensity grab audio?

Having trouble with idensity “grab audio” using it on the ipad
When i hit the mic it grabs the audio but there is no way to stop it (actually theres no way out either).
This is not the case on the iphone; there is a done button on the top right and the recording is immediately saved to a file (great).
Any help?

Hmmm... I’m running a beta, but I’ve got a done button on mine. It’s either a bug, or maybe you need a re-install?

😆i know the feeling. Did reinstall to no avail...im in contact with apesoft via email.
Also when i record via hitting this mic (see pic) how do i save that recording to the sample files folder??? I figured it did it automaticaly but it doesnt, and actually doesnt show up anywhere. Its lost when i shut down the program.
I’m using the beta (there’s a new version coming - not sure when) but it doesn’t have that mic icon. Instead, there’s an input icon. After you record into buffer, there’s a document + sign icon next to it, when you click that you can save the recorded buffer to documents. I know that doesn’t help you right now, but the new version will likely be a free upgrade and has other cool goodies included as well.
Have you tried a long press on the mic icon? I don’t remember I it was done in that version.
It is working fine for me. Air 2 / 12.1.
I can open the samples list, hit the mic button.
There is a done button to finish recording.
The sample shows up immediately under the Documents Folder Samples area under the Built In Samples area on the Samples list.

When you press that mic icon to stop recording, long press it and a save menu will pop up.
No, just the latest version from the AppStore.
Try using the live recording and try to save your sample with a long press on the mic button when you stop the sampling. You should get a save menu pop up.
Ok thx. Yes Mr. Apesoft has told me there will be an update with improved features. The beta doesnt have the issue. Also said “In this version you cannot save the live buffer, in the next one will be possible” These things will really help this app shine for me.
Btw a very resposive and helpful dev which is super appreciated. Sometimes I just dont know if its a bug, a missing feature or that maybe the sonicscapes have finally eaten away my brain.

Strange. I am able to save the live buffer sample using the long press method. It shows up in the Documents Folder Samples list. Here is a screenshot with 3 tests I did just now. The last one is from the live buffer save.
ApeSoft apps are really cool. But they do confuse me quite often.
Hey thx.....the long press sorta works. The menu option only comes up on that long press when you stop recording. So say you stop recording, play for a while and then decide to save it with a long press, that option is gone. I think this could be implemented in a different way, but your tip makes it better 👍🏼
The grab audio is a confirmed bug (yes im jealous of those that dont have it). There is a very odd work around (from Mr.Apesoft himself) to get it working requiring you to open the parameter page and press where there are no words and im gonna stop this here and just enjoy what I have while awaiting the update.
