dm1 crashes in audiobus

When i want to start dm1 in audiobus it crashes. I'm not shure if audiobus crashes or dm1.
dm1 doesn't start inside audiobus. Without audiobus, no problem.

  • I am getting the same behavior.

But, I am able to get it working in a wonky way.

After DM1 and AB seem to crash, and you get kicked back to the main iPad screen, double tap the home button (or swipe up) to see the running apps.
If you tap DM1 and bring it to the foreground, it does this reload thing. After that it works in Audiobus.

Something is definitely not right, but this workaround is working for me.

    Hey @womke , @CracklePot

Are you guys talking about the DM1 drum machine, or AudioKit D1?

For AudioKit D1, one thing that has fixed it for people is to delete D1 and re-download it from the app store.

    Note:
If you do have custom presets, you'll want to export your User bank before deleting D1

Then, you can re-load your custom patches using the "import" button on the Presets panel after re-installing

  • Yes- had this too. DM1 does need looking at- esp in relation to Audiobus and AUM- which is a little strange as it had a minor bug update only a week ago- maybe this has something to do with it. I always have a sense before I launch it that some fiddling around will be required.
