Nice again Wayne. I have had some lovely adventures myself with Autony and Ripplemaker. Autony keeps warming up to me everyday.
@sysexual Thanks! I’m really digging Autony, and Ripplemaker is awesome. I wonder how hard it would be to implement a way to program our own algorithms in Autony? @pagefall
@waynerowand are you a fan of Hiroshi Yoshimura?
@sysexual Yep! Along with Toru Takemitsu and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Sakamoto was just in Sydney at the Opera House and I missed it! Love his work with Deupree and 12k
Bummer! I love those sounds! My composition prof. hated Sakamoto and gave me dirty looks every time I brought him up.
Haha. Probably envy.
Dunno.....This guy was a direct student of Paul Hindemith and Samuel Adler, and had some serious chops. I think it had more to do with academic snobbery.
That exists all too much in creative schools. I just listened to Music For Nine Postcards. Exceptional.
Digging this !
Ah that was a pleasant surprise, I was expecting to be tortured but clicked on it anyways.
Great sounds
@reasOne Thanks !
@1nsomniak Surprise! 🥳
at the moment - not easy. However I do have thoughts about pattern languages for next year.... watch this space ;-)
That said - given the fantastic response to Autony and the fact a couple of people have asked I'm wondering about a standalone or desktop update for Autony and was thinking of adding some more algorithms in there for that so happy to take suggestions and ideas!
wow, great stuff!
That sounds exciting! Thanks for the cool tool!
Lovely! You're the man!
Big fan here too! I really enjoy his projects with Alva Noto.
With such parents, I could only love the child. Nice work again ! Truly inspiring.
With your last two creations, I am now having a hard time choosing between Senode and Autony...
@JanKun Thanks, glad you enjoy! I don’t have Senode so I can’t speak one way or another about it. I feel Autony offers a nice compromise between control and randomness. A big plus is that it’s very immediate and quite fun. I love procedural systems in music and would love to see more apps like Autony, Xynthesizr, Senode,......I’m sure I’m missing some.
@senhorlampada Thanks for he kind words!
Was not entirely excited about Autony, but hearing this is giving me a bit of a push. Very nice stuff. Thanks for sharing.
I prefer autony for its auv3. If senode were au the story would be different for sure
Ok, so I am afraid I'll have to check both!😉
Its a good idea to me.
I need this ripplemakrr patches
Loving this, great work
My cat gets hypnotized with this track, funny @waynerowand
Because of your post, I purchased Autony. I’m sad it doesn’t work in BM3 tho
@RedSkyLullaby Thanks Stuart!
@reasOne Sorry, I didn’t save them.
@Jurri That’s hilarious! I once had a cat that would lose his damn mind every time I played “Bitches Brew”....Eric Dolphys bass clarinet part specifically.
@YZJustDatGuy Sorry, I didn’t know. I host in AUM. Hope it gets sorted.
