Is this good? Do you use it in your music making? There are lots of oblique strategies apps on the App Store. Why did you select this one?
I want the most direct, no menus, no choices
Only one touch..and make it
Is this the same? http://stoney.sb.org/eno/oblique.html
Nice. I was thinking this should exist.
Related: Does anybody know of an app that randomizes little notes that you’ve written yourself? Like taking notes out of a hat? I don’t always have my hat with me.
Yes Wotja can do this in it’s cut up notes part
Thank you! I’ll check it out
From the app store photos: "Do nothing for as long as possible." You really shouldn't challenge me to do that.
It would be hilarious if that was the only strategy. Sorta like that gag book 'What Men Know About Women' that's just a bunch of blank pages.
Wotja looks pretty interesting. I became distracted by the non-threatening subscription model - buy and keep, but the updates stop at the end of the year. Why don’t more developers do this? I might wait for the 2019 edition and investigate.
Now wondering if the Shortcuts app might be another way to go. I had it as the ‘Workflow’ app before Apple bought them out, although I never got in the habit of programming ‘workflows’. Automation one level up. There must be musical applications for that one too.
Yeah it's a good app. I bought the 2017 version but won't upgrade again unless there's a significant update.
Some developers do this in different ways. I prefer the sequel method though like Audulus allows updates until there's s significant new big version. There never seems to be significant upgrades within the yearly model to justify it.
