Think KEW would be good for someone looking for experimental and very out of the ordinary "styles"?
I'm not really sure what styles of music people are using Korg Electribe Wave for. Is it mostly beat oriented electronica or is it also suited for a large variety of music styles?

I use it for a lot of chill ambient kind of stuff around 65-85bpm.
Here's a playlist of what I've created to date using the great app:

I'm not really fluent in the modern styles so KEW helps me understand differences between a lot of current EDM, IDM, Hip-Hop, Ambient, Chill and other clearly labeled styles. I just don't see synthwave which has surfaced here a lot lately.
It doesn't do any of the older styles before the advent of the 808 or Akai MPC types of systems.
Is there anything you're aware of that's close to covering all the styles you like?
I just bought iBassist and Funk Drummer and they cover a lot of styles that work for me that I couldn't get KEW to cover for example. Old School R&B, etc.
I’m generally using it for rhythmic arp type stuff. It’s versatile, and you can coax plenty of weird noises from it, but wouldn’t be my first choice for experimental stuff.
I think it’s perfectly suited for anything synth based, because it has a great versatile synth. And I’ve been making plenty of stuff that sounds really weird and/or ambient and plenty of more mainstream sounding stuff. The point is the synth sounds really good and you can get a lot of great sounds out of it. With the new jump mode feature for launching loops, where the new loop picks up right at the same spot as the previous one, you have no shortage of ways to make all different types of rhythms and phrases
