Love the sound of this synth. If it had an LFO or two I'd probably use it more than magellan just because the simplicity.
I like the Doug's demo but this one too:
Nice synth!
I'm not sure if I'll use it regularly or once in a while, but I'd be pretty stupid to pass this up. :P Looks like a great synth.
I'm not an expert, or even accomplished synthesist, but this is one of my favorite iphone apps for jamming along and just trying to figure simple things out. I was sat in an airport a few months ago trying to recreate Muse Madness or Daft Punk Instant Crush, and this little app helped me get really close on some of the basic sounds. For an hour I was jamming along having a really great time, it made the layover time go by very quickly. When I got home I pulled out the iPad, fired up Sunrizer and I'd figured out enough of the sounds to get the rest of the way there in no time at all.
Great little app at the regular price. Stupid not to pick it up now while free.
Based on how good it is, I'm really wondering if it is worth picking up Magellan on sale. (I have Sunrizer, Animoog - does Magellan do anything differently?)
It does SPAWN, which I think is pretty great. Tweaking from there is awesome.

Magellan has lots of additional features such as xy pads, effects, being able to run two patches at the same time and to sync them. You have lots of midi control options as well. Here's a video showing two Magellan patches being controlled by a midi keyboard and pads. During the Christmas sale it's only $4.99 and worth every penny.
Thanks @Paulinko. That video really helped, so I bought it. As a guitar player, I also saw a linked video on Guitar to MIDI and now I'm looking into that too! So many apps to choose from!!!
@fprintf you can also use magellan in the effects slot of audiobus to process other apps.
@yonac, in case you lurk... I'd pay again for a no-synth version of the magellan effects, just to reduce memory overhead. Nothing added (but maintaining the presets system).
@syrupcore I think you're gonna like 2014….
Actually, Galieo and Magellan FX in one app would be great!
