Ruismaker NOIR │ Absolutely AWESOME Drum Synth App - haQ attaQ 305
Bram Bos Ruismaker Noir is simply Awesome! This powerful drum synthesizer app caught me of guard with it's great sound and intuitive sequencer. However it was the slope control that really got me hooked. Yes! Noir has a great envelope slope control that allows for some really intricate drum tweaking. In my opinion this is one of the best apps that Bram has made! This video isn't just a tutorial or a demo of Ruismaker Noir. Nope, this video is a tribute to one of the most inspiring apps I've used in 2018. Bring it!

Thanks, Jakob! Great app, great video (as always).
Look forward to watching this, thanks Jakob.
OMG, this is soo cool!! Well done Jakob!
So much ball fingering!
As it should be.
@jakoB_haQ - that was a wonderful explanation of the Pitch & Velocity modulation controls. Thanks for that!
So educational thanks Jakob
Excellent video thank you!
Brilliant and with some "humour noir", bravo !
Saw a dude at work watching a Jakob video... I guess this place is real after all.
Shhhhhh! Don't tell anyone!
Thanks. I bought it after watching your video. I am not into samples so this synth comes in handy for drummy rhythms.
Great overview. Caught a few things i hadn’t figures out yet.
Haha! I hope you’re not his boss!
@Norbert Yeah I too prefer drum synthesis, however I would love to see someone make a rompler/sampler/synthesis-combo. Kinda like The electron hardware. Put that together, add a good envelope with proper slope control and an envelope shaper at the end ... well, that kills everything!
@vitocorleone123 @cuscolima @brambos @Daveypoo @realdawei @Kitusai @vpich Thanks everyone, I’m happy yall liked the video and that yall found it useful. Had to finger a huge amount of balls when making this episode!
Hope you liked the show!
Yeah it was great - I lfinally earned how to use those mod buttons on the bottom. I might do the hair thing you do too - mine keeps getting in the way.
Sounds like something you could make in BM3? Two pads can be linked (triggered at the same time), one with an au synth like Noir, one with a sample. The sample has plenty of envelope controls and attack/release with slopes. Those can be mapped to macros, and played in real-time using the XY pads in BM3.
Great video! I couldn't find it in the description, but what is the audio wave visualizer app on the second device (in the back)?
You mean like Obsidian in Nanostudio 2 ? :-))
hint: watch pitch envelope with point to adjust decay slope
