Not seen this, what is your device and iOS device
air2 running 11.4.1. experimenting now with background turned ON, in case they got the settings backwards. with the app closed it was 50% of my battery drain over past 7 days.
It’s a pretty demanding app, I’m running latest iOS, and a 10.5 pro, with no issues.
Cult of the Dead Battery

Demanding even when not in use??????
Have you checked that it's not mining bitcoin or something? 😀
If it shows up in the "battery" section in settings and it's backgrounded and has no background audio the only option left if background refresh. Try turning that off.
Well, that's a stroke of bad luck.
Maybe reach out to the developer(s) in a nice manner and let them know what's up.
That is weird, sorry I didn’t track that part of your note. I have zero ideas on that. You’re not using it as an AB/IAA sound module? Ghost app type thing? I’ve found that turning off background in device settings doesn’t help with the ghosts.
I trashed the app and downloaded again. Will see if this helps in a day or so. Thanks for the other thoughts. Strange no one else has reported this issue....
Sounds like IAA ghost drain.
I think the soft reset kills those IAA ghosts (can you kill a ghost?).
Hold the iPad power button until the power off screen comes up.
Then hold the home button until the home screen comes back up.
Trashed it, downloaded again, problem seems solved....
