  • I got it last year for $.99 US. Unfortunately, I felt like I wasted $.99 US..... :-(

  • Yeah, the big problem for me was that this app doesn't seem to support playing multiple notes at the same time on one machine. So no chords...

  • I spend an evening with this app but twice a year and if I keep it at that, I thoroughly enjoy it. Kinda like dating @simon's sister.

  • On sale again.

  • Thanks! I learned about this when it was still 4.99. I think it's great for 99 cents, especially as an iPhone sketchpad.

  • Love this app. I think anyone who likes Figure would too.

Yeah, that note grid is a feature I think a lot of people miss. People tend to hate on any of the apps with 303, 808, or 909 interfaces and no grid. (They also leave reviews making fun of the "cheesy dance sounds" of those machines, which I never understand - the rating should be for how well the app does what it says it does!). The Rhythm Studio note grid gives you Figure-like control, and you set the touch bars to be within a certain scale/mode (like "E Mixolydian") That's pretty deep for a 99 cent app with AB.

  • @StormJH1 Where is this "note grid" feature? I'm one of the people who missed it.

@TedBPhx Note grid is the black rectangle with red vertical lines, pictured in the second image, lower left, in the AppStore description pictures.
The note grid, like the mixer, is included in each scene the user generates.

  • Oh. I call that the recording keyboard.

  • Yeah, I confused myself reading back that piss poor description. Sorry. :). @Littlewoodg said it better.

  • On sale again.
