Using AKAI Synthstation 25 as BT MIDI Controller
Hello, i use the SS25 with an old iPhone 4s. With midimtr i can connect the iPhone to other devices. There was an app called Midibridge that supported the SS25. But this is no longer in the appstore. Does someone know a method how i could use the SS25 together with the iPhone 4S as a BT Controller?

Try these apps

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/midiflow/id879915554?mt=8
Or just get a usb Bluetooth dongle

Bleev I’ve also used Audiobus and or AUM
To accomplish this as well.
Tooth it!
Depending on what version of iOS you have you may be able to download a version of music studio that supports the SS25.
There’s a free limited version that you can download to see if it works.
I don't think that these both apps are supporting the SS25. I have Midiflow and this does not see the Synthstation.
I too used MidiBridge with my SS25 and iPad before an iOS update rendered it unusable. Now I use a USB cable with a powered USB hub alongside a version 1 nanoPad.
Thank you, i remember that around 2012 i tried Music Studio so i downloaded it again (full version!). Sadly, it won't recocnize my SS25. I am on iOS 9.3.5
PS: Nanostudio is working, but it has no MIDI out
EDIT: I found an older Version of Musicstudio on my Mac. Installed it via iTunes and this one works.
PS: I have sometimes double triggered notes with the SS25 - any idea how to fix this?
Only midibridge can recognize SS25 and forward midi message for others app. No New app culd support SS25 due to Apple doesn't allow 32 bits code anymore
MusicStudio does the trick because it has Midi out and midi through. So together with Midimitr SS25 can be used as a BT Midi Controller. I play cubasis on iPad with that.
