OT: Collage Graphics App?
I have a couple and they do a decent enough job, but used to have one a few years back which could do something like this:
It didn't keep up with the iOS updates however....
What's the fave collage app you use?
Comments
Pixelmator comes to mind ... its strength for collages being that rescaling, rotating and repositioning of objects is lossless
Thanks Nick. Appreciate the nudge. Will go take a look.
PicPlayPost is pretty good at banging out a photo buffet. You can even throw in video files. But it adheres pretty strictly to a grid system, so might not offer the rotational qualities you’re looking for.
Thanks will give it a look!
Hmmm. Not what I'm looking for first off, but the idea of video makes it interesting. Will check it out. Thanks for the nudge.
@tja thanks again for the Moldiv idea. Only had the quickest of fiddles but it looks good for the purpose:
I have a few apps, Over is great for multi layered images and text,
Over Edit & Add Text to Photos by Over, Inc.
https://itunes.apple.com/br/app/over-edit-add-text-to-photos/id535811906?mt=8
Also Snapseed is perfect for editing, cropping etc.
Great images you have there!

Thanks for the heads up. I like Snapseed (liked it even more before the redesign
), AND I have Over but have never used it (like a number of music apps I could shamefully mention), but now will scuttle off and go look. Thanks again!
Pixlr - Photo Collages, Effect by 123RF Limited
For general photo editing I still cant decide between snapseed, pixlr and enlight.
Id like to choose one but havent found any flaws in these, theres already a bunch eliminated. Its a pretty crowded niche.
Interesting, I actually have an account with 123RF, so will have to take a look...
If you are looking for a montage effect rather than just a collage effect, the Double Exposure function of Pixlr is great.
Made me stop for a moment to clarify my montage from my collage
Certainly don't know about this Double Exposure feature so will go look. Thank you.
Try Mobilab. It’s free.

I use Pic Collage Maker.
Oops I said Mobilab. That’s the dev. App is Instaframe +.
I think MOLDIV is good, but I can't seem to remove the word 'MOLDIV![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
on many of the templates (despite being a 'pro' user) and this either a) pisses me off at them or b) pisses me off at my own ignorance
Will check Don, thanks...
Thanks so much for these links! Gives me something to do this lunchtime![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
@JohnnyGoodyear - is this something you often do ( pic collage) so it’s about to spare time?
Otherwise, why not use Affinity Photo (or Affinity Designer) to just lay out your photos by yourself with frames and other nice elements...
Here are me and my sisters&brothers and daddy in the mid 60’s...
Easy done on iPad...
A bit of both. Quick and clean is good
But you are also right about Affinity, as your excellent pictures show....thank you.
Lovely photos and nice composition.
