  • "I don't belong in this hospital!" Couldn't agree more! Very creepy and mesmerizing. Schizofunk at it's best!

  • Cool track. What is the banjo-ish sounding patch that comes in around the 1:00 mark? Is that Geoshred?

Nice. Sounded suitably organic and creepy at that point in the tune.

I feel as though after a year and several hours a day I have pretty well mastered the Circuit in the sense of preset synth designs and performance capabilities.

I am shocked how powerful the synth engine in the Circuit actually is.

I am using it for mainly string and pluck type sounds along with bass most of the time.

The onboard effects on the Circuit are really stellar as well

I so SO wish MonoStation had them.

But have a new mixer with some on board Fx en route to fix that.......

Thanks so much for your interest and feedback.

  • I need to figure out what Loopy does with all those inputs. Is it just a method for live playback that also gets recorded? Any clues appreciated. I keep seeing people mention Loopy is their workflows. Is it just one Loopy instance?

Loopy is an IAA app. So, you can only run one -- but Loopy can have up to 12 separate loops.

You could run Loopy and LoopyHD to get up to 24. If you search for loopy, you will find a recent thread that walks one through the set-up to use it as a live looper in AUM (requires AB3 also).

If you don't mind my asking, what is the spoken word part taken from?

College educational video from the 1950-60's on schizophrenia.

Loopy has 12 spots to make loops.

ALL the apps are fed into the 1 instance of loopy.

Just as a DAW like Cubasis or Auria can be in multiple outputs but be on the same project.

    LOOPY is essential for me.

LOOPY is also controlled with Audiobus remote if you choose so that makes so much more possible.

I use loopy in the creative process as well as performance at one point for many live scenarios.

    Any other questions?

I can really twist you mind and tell you how you can run multi instances of sample tank into 1 DAW at a time as well but I won't do that to you....... LOL

I went searching for the Loopy Thread and found something but this reply has more clues for me because what I found was focused on Start/Stop headaches related to Link or MIDI clock and included external hardware potentially being the authoritative clock. So many dark corners left to explore in this room called MIDI... and weird devices like MIDI to ethernet converters... MIDI breath controllers... MIDI home management consoles.

Tell me what you would hope to do with it.

Ask what ever you want to know.

    I will help you out.

  • Thanks.

OT It appears the "Search" function doesn't show recent threads that match the requested search text. It probably runs as a monthly batch job but I'm used to Google which shows the most recent hits first. Still it does unearth some relevant gems from the vault.

That I can't help you with.

    App use yes.

    Search engine. No.
