  • Nice one SpookyZoo. Done. Merry Christmas.

  • seems to work, let's just hope they don't now spam me forever!*

    *there were only 2 mailing options in the account prefs: daily or weekly. "Never" was conspicuous by its absence!

  • Cool! Good to hear. :)

    If the spam is about further iTunes offers...I don't mind. :)

  • Thanks SpookyZoo. Just done that. Yes the junk mail, I suppose we will have to see about that :)

  • Brilliant. Much appreciated. I'm off to purchase bs-16i

  • Such is why I have a secondary email address I use just for things like this and never check it so all crap mail goes there!

  • @SpookyZoo Does this work irrespective of country/appstore? say for use in the French AppStore for instance?

    I imagine it will be for the UK iTunes Store only. There are ways to open accounts for stores in other countries....just give Google a spin. :)

    @FrankieJay @noisyninja Cool! :)

  • I just verified (because i thought i remembered that) i once received a us store gift card from an aunt. I was able to use it, i think i got a popup when i redeemed it on my french account specifying the account could only be used for purchases on the french store, and then i was able to use it (in the french store, that is). I do have a record of receiving that gift card, and using it.. Should be the same for the UK probably - i just wonder if the offer would suffer from it.. But since it's not an offer iTunes has anything to do with (they say that on their site, that it is not endorsed by apple or anything) so i imagine the code u get is a regular 10 pound gift card.. Can anybody confirm that? (Also, with 10 pounds equivalent in euros you get more purchase value.. Unless i'm missing something and that reasoning is flawed?)

  • I couldn't say, sorry.

    Was just highlighting a simple offer that works great in the UK.

    Offer ends 25th December though.

    Also for the UK (sorry) there is another thread started by @Ian with details of 15% of via Paypal. I just successfully bought a £25 card. Very easy. It even directs you back to the iStore with the redemption code already typed in! :)

    @Harrison thanks for the info. Perhaps you'd like to add that link to this, more 'ongoing' thread http://forum.audiob.us/discussion/4608/post-itunes-gift-card-discounts-and-promos-here/p1

    This thread specified a short lived UK deal from last year.

    Cheers...and welcome!
