Unused Native Instruments Licenses? Ideas?

You guys seem to have a lot of experience with Native stuff so asking here. I have a ton of extra unregistered Komplete 11 Select, Maschine 2 and Expansion packs in my Native Instrument account. I know I can sell the expansions, but are the Select or Maschine 2 licenses worth anything? If they have monetary value I'd like to sell them and donate the money to a good cause, or donate them directly to people looking to get into Native Instruments stuff if they're just useful. Or maybe something else, I don't know...still trying to work out how they can help bring some holiday cheer.

Thoughts?

  • NI licenses are often linked to hardware. So you can't sell them unless you sell the hardware too.

  • I see. That’s a shame. I wonder how many people have bought used controllers and then realized they have to buy the software too.

There may be some .... let's say I know a guy.

  • You can sell licenses off at the KVR forum Buy/Sell page. There is a super active group that will pick up your wares. It’s even possible to search for going prices on your products. NI will generate a transfer code for free, all you have to do is request it.

There are really many. Google buying unregistered maschine and/ or watch below

  • I bought a mk1 for $90, used it with Giest and the controller editor. A license was up for sale for $50, it came w/ upgrade and select. Now I use Massive and Giest. The license can come from any mashine, for example my license is from a white micro.
