Cool. Will be watching this shortly. Cheers!
What a great interview! It kept me engaged for the whole almost 40 mins and had a real feel-good factor! @analog_matt you have a wonderful interviewing style and @Michael, what a humble and talented guy you are!
Thank you all especially for Loopy, Audiobus, FM Player, Synth One, and the luscious D1 Synth!
Thank you!
Always wonderful to see how creative, positive, and grateful @Michael is while still being able to code reliable apps plus providing us with this forum. Helps me to temper my own less than gracious tendencies when I reflect upon what he’s about.
Stability... yes please Apple!
Also what about take the Roli path with embedding things into dedicated hardware platform?
I said this since Apple seems more interested in Photoshop than Logic Pro and all it means related to OS development...
So nice to know some things from another developer
Hope Apple sees this interview in the interest of iOS stability.
@Michael keep doing what you do. Really enjoyed the interview. You mentioned loopy pro 😉 would love to here more about that project.
Loved this interview. We thousands of consumers have so many opportunities to share our feelings about products, it's always educational to hear from those who make them. Making it more personal, we don't take so much for granted. This is about great guys doing great work, and I'm thankful for it.
Thanks guys!
Agreed, really loved this interview with the insight into the history of Loopy, Audiobus and SampleBot.
This was such a great interview. Really well done guys. Thanks also for all the great things you’ve done for iOS music. It’s been my main and most enjoyable hobby for the past 7 years and you guys make it possible. Cheers! 👍😁
Yeah, thanks Michael for all you’ve done .. , ... You sure changed my life because if not for you and Jakob Haq I wouldn’t even be on here and with an iPad Pro, no less.
Very cool interview @analog_matt - I couldn’t take my eyes off it. I love your style.
I actually bought a motor-home and designed it into my travelling studio @Michael
The absolute mobile way to make music. I’ve stuffed it with Mac, pc, iPads, tv, Yamaha Tyros 4, PS4, two mixers, Pro Tools, guitars, mic stand... stuff stuff stuff, cool to see you live Michael. Cold beers 🍻 from Norway.
Great interview @analog_matt and @michael. God, Mike, were you just Bar Mitzvahed? Cosmetic surgery? Loved the out of control hair, too. Must show my wife and tell her it is in vogue for iOS so she'llmlay off me.
Terrific production, too. A beautiful and enlightening piece! Thanks for the Xmas gift!
Great interview, thanks for all the insights
It's appropriate that I watched the video here on Christmas Eve. I'm not religious at all but I like to think the spirit of Christmas is reflected in that video--the gratitude expressed, the good cheer shared among like-minded people, etc. I think Matt nailed it when he mused that communities reflect the core values of the leaders, and those values are on full display in the interview. Thanks for sharing!
Great work on the flick @analog_matt ! You’ve been one of my favorite discoveries of the year and I respect everything you’re doing. I see you’re in the A shawty!!! (He’ll get it). If ever down for some free soul food, great trap or twerk work, Chantrelles, Onxy Magic City on me.
I have a place behind Atlantic Station...got it when that area was the “place to be” in the city so they said.😒
I always imagined @Michael a Yoda figure among iOS Devs but now these videos give me way more wild and crazy young Luke Skywalker vibes.lol. Dope dude very deserving of all the good things this universe has coming to him.
Keep it up and Merry Christmas fellas!
AWESOME!!!!!......
Thanks. I've enjoyed the easy and positive vibe from the footage. Much needed in the doom and gloom apple update cycle.
Such a good interview, one of the best ever for any interview I’ve seen. Also the presentation with video effects etc. was top notch.
Had no idea of the challenges of app development. My level of respect skyrocketed. Well done interview Matt and Michael.
@WillieNegus : “Luke Skywalker”.. ROTFL that’s genius !!
@LinearLineman : Yeah, that’s what you call “Genius Bedhead “”...
Man, that “Loopy Pro” is gonna be the sh-t!!!
Why are guys named Michael or Mike Tyson always the champs?
What an actual pleasure that was to listen to! Truly the “George Washington” of ios!
Great interview! Thank you both @analog_matt and @Michael for all your work - and Merry Christmas
Thank you! That's a lovely thing to say
Way cool! That's great - too bad about the plumbing though, am I right? ;-)
Haha!
Aww
Shucks - thank you!
Thanks all & happy Christmas!
👍Ditto
Wow, that was really good. Great insight and some well thought questions.
Great interview. Always good to get some insight into the life of someone that brings so much to what I love to do and to also have been there when it started.
Thanks for everything @Michael.
Just bumping this back to page one so the Christmas deserters can have a look.
