Stagelight... Failed to load songs

So I started on two songs a couple weeks ago in stagelight..
One has two instances of ppg infinite, one layr and stagelights own drum app...

When I reopen it now, all I get is.... Silence, and some of the track channels just freeze the whole project when I try to open them...

The other track I started, same thing...

Not sure how to continue, as I want to use it and even paid for the full thing, but....i can't rely on it to open my tracks later then what good is it?

Anyone else or any solutions?

    I set up a song with the same apps you mentioned and did some testing. It seems the culprit is PPG Infinite. Any song that I make using that app ends up broken without sound when re-opened.

    I had this problem with EGSY01. The workaround for me was to always remember to freeze the track before saving. It could then be unfrozen after load.

    I can’t remember for sure, but I think changing the instrument to something else and then back to EGSY01 (fortunately I was using an unmodified preset) also worked to recover the project.

    I did not experience that issue with Layr itself. I tested with Layr and Infinite together, then with each separately and the only had the issue with songs containing infinite.

    As @wim suggested, selecting the plugin and replacing it works. In my case infinite UI didn't show up when the issue occurred.The issue also made all other instruments lose their sound. I selected the infinite plugin in the channel strip, holding down on the plugin name gives a popup option to change instrument or delete it. I selected change instrument, selecting infinite again and got the sound back on all instruments.

    This will hopefully bring me back to use stagelight cuz I love the way it works! Gonna try it tonight
