@funjunkie So your keyboard does this automatically?
No...I have to manually change the channel. I get the feeling we're not on the same page though. I'll send you a pm.
@mgmg4871 Just check your midi controller's manual to change the midi channel. I guess the whole thing with the midi channel being hardcoded in the synth is that if you can manage to plug in more than 1 midi keyboard in the ipad, you can set them each to a different midi channel and use more than 1 keyboard/drumpad controller at once to control the app. I've never tried that with the ipad but I imagine it's possible with the proper midi interface.
Thanks guys. Got it. Had to resort to manual to find out how to change midi channel.
The coolness with poly's 4 MIDI outs (for the two mono synths, the poly, and drums) is that all four can be sequenced and recorded via AB into 4 separate tracks Cubasis...did two at a time last night but I'm guessing all 4 could work.
Dev says he will make this user editable in future update.
This sounds great and you can actually create a song unlike a lot of synths. I am many synths, this is.
I am sure I am doing something incredibly stupid here but as soon as I touch the record button the whole app locks up. Only way to get it going again is to close it down. Anyone have this problem? Only just bought it and have reinstalled it to no effect.
sounds like a MIDI loop.
Does it support Virtual MIDI? Selectable ports - both multiple internal MIDI sources and multiple external sources - or i it promiscuous? Can MidiBridge see it, and vice-versa?
Sorted, just opened a new song in the menu and it all came good. Seemed to be locked on the demo. Strange that reinstal didn't fix it.
@dwarman - it seems to be hard coded for midi channels 1-4 tied to the parts going left to right. I haven't found any way to change that. MidiBridge does recognize it, but labels it iVoxel, but it seems to work fine. The other thing I haven't found is a setting for background audio, but it works fine in the foreground, or in the background when running through AB, otherwise it shuts down in the background.
does it have polyphonic aftertouch? Users with a QuNexus can try it out because this keyboard can output poly AT.
Thanks.
I haven't tried Poly AT yet. I have the QuNexus, so I'll try it as soon as I get some time.
