Cubasis 2.7, how to choke sample (for example open hi-hat) in MiniSampler?

How to choke sample (for example open hi-hat) in MiniSampler? This is present in stock kits but I can not figure out how to do this in custom.

One way to 'fake' it is to se the release-time at minimum (ie. the sound instantly cuts off) and for the longer sounds set the note length so it plays the entire sound.

When it comes to features the Cubasis MiniSampler lacks a lot of basic features such as being able to tune the samples, per sample envelope, proper mute groups, layering etc. etc. etc.

We can only hope that @LFS and his team will at some point during 2019 consider adding more advanced features to the sampler and also bring over the sampler-track from Cubase :)

    Thanks for the answer.

Maybe, Steinberg has bigger plans for an advanced sampler in Cubasis. They modestly called the current one "Mini Sampler" and may keep it that way (like the multiple EQ effects it currently has including IAPs)
