Advice required - USB Hub

Hi - before I go and spend money on the wrong thing, I'm looking for some advice. I've got an Ipad, laptop, midi keyboard and a zoom audio interface. I'd like to be able to send midi from my keyboard to both my laptop and ipad (not necessarily at the same time), i'd also like to be able to send audio/midi to my laptop from the ipad and i'd like to output audio from my laptop to my zoom audio interface. If I was to buy a usb hub, would it be possible to achieve the above?

I'm thinking that the hub would be connected to the laptop, then the midi keyboard and ipad would be connected to the hub and I would have a separate output from laptop to my audio interface.

Would that work as I hope? If so, any recommendations on USB Hubs would be appreciated.

Thanks
