iOS Equivalent to Reason's Chords & Scales Player?
For those of you familiar with Reason, is there an iOS equivalent to Reason's Chords & Scales Player? I'm looking (preferably) for an AU that outputs MIDI notes to give the same functionality within iOS.
Comments
Would love to see a combined full on player as you describe I believe no dev has gone the whole hog yet.
Odesi Chords
ScaleBud
ChordBud
KB-1
QuantiChord
ScaleGen
Kord
Klimper
ScalePlay
ChordPolyPad
Changeling
Chordbot
Chord Maps 2
Navichord
These apps all touch on the idea but don’t take it to the lengths of desktop players like Reasons Chords & Scales
Plugin Boutique Scaler ( some dev please copy this for ios)
Captain Chords 2
Hopefully 2019 will see more players come out offering more functionality.
Yeah! Sigh! Guess we have to keep hoping! Cheers mate!
Odesi Chords is pretty good shame it only exports midi and doesn’t do midi out same with Chordbot please devs give us midi out for these apps.
Haven’t seen Propellerheads take on this kind of Midi plugins, but, is it near Apples implementation of this in Logic Pro X?
I’m unsure about how things are in Reason, but the arpegggiator and chord system in IOS Europa is one of my favorite things better. Way more intuitive and interesting that LPX’s standard and basic MIDI plugins IMO.
Reason Compact? has the chords and scale feature baked in ...but not sure if it does midi out
I don’t think the Reason Compact Chords and Arpeggios even get recorded into the sequencer, or that it has midi out.
But it sure does sound great to use those in the app.
Second this!
