Going through 2018 iOS projects...
And I just want to delete them all.
Not that I don't enjoy some tracks, but it seems like too much work to do anything with this stuff. Thousands to sort through and it's all sounding the same like iOS soundclouder music.
I keep accidentally deleting the good projects or losing samples from trying to delete duplicate projects.
Wipe the iPad and start fresh for 2019?

I archive everything even if I never look at it again.
Also try to upload the better ones as you go, even if you get sick of them at the time it’s good to have a semi curated collection to look back on.
That's good advice.
A lot of the music I've made (mainly BM3 projects) earlier in the year won't play back at the highest buffer setting so it's tedious to try and listen, rename and archive. Easier to keep it all, thanks!
The problem with being the artist of a song, is that you've heard it too many times while you're creating it and examining it. You also know everything about it... The parts you like, the parts that are not exactly what you wanted them to be, the stress the work... The good bad ugly lol.
It's probably best to just release it if you think it's good and see if anyone with fresh ears on it digs it...
I also think it's better to have your songs mastered by someone else with freah ears on it, takes away a lot of doubt and stress
Intense work on a track makes you build up your very own sonic universe on the thing.![:o :o](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/open_mouth.png)
Recently listened to a track (own) that I hadn't touched for at least a year, and it was: wtf did I mix there ???
That's still ok.... It happened to once that i even did not remember that I made some track which i hear somewhere after few years![ ](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smiley.png)
Reference tracks are aparently good to use while mixing but I just can’t bring myself to listen to someone elses music while working on my own, heh, the ‘mixing’ stage is still creative juice stage. Ahh well, I tell myself ProQ3 will solve everything. Just one purchase away as ussual.
I think I do this every year. No regrets here.
