Korg Gadget - MIDI notes of drum Gadgets: Are they changeable?
I am trying to get my OP-Z to play with Korg Gadget. I do not see a way to change which MIDI notes Gadget response to, and I do not see a way to change the MIDI notes OP-Z sends on its drum tracks.
Anyone know if Gadget supports changing the MIDI notes to which the drum Gadgets respond?

You can change around the instruments on the Recife pads to support your midi controller, seq. etc.
You can’t change the notes that the pads respond to. You can change the sounds that each pad plays, but not the notes.
You can translate the notes coming from the OPZ to other notes before sending them on to Gadget by using something like MidiFlow, Midi Fire, or StreamByter.
If I recall correctly, Gadget will take input from any attached MIDI hardware. So, you will have to set up Gadget to not listen to the channel that OPZ sends on if you use something like MidiFire or MidiFlow to translate.
As far as I know Gadget is well behaved as long as you use the advanced midi mode. With the NanoKEY Studio, etc, you need to turn off native mode in the advanced settings, that’s all.
Module and some other Korg synths do hog the hardware. But not Gadget. Here’s a Streambyter script I used to test from the pads on a NanoKEY Studio in non-native mode. Tested with Gadget hosted in AUM and in AB3.
