Any chance of a better image Morris ?
That's why it's called a teaser. Lol. Better pic here. I don't know why it's blurry here.

Lemme know if that works.
No that didn't work you need a Facebook account to view !
You can view it on Palmsounds.net if you scroll down a little, or take a sec to create a fictitious FB account.
Palmsounds: edited
s'gone now. Does this work?
It's still there. Sorry I forgot the s. Palmsounds.net. @Ian, it's still to blurry to see the text, which is the most important.
No compressor? The screenshot looks very promising though. I have a feeling that Genome might develop in the direction of Caustic...

And as an owner of Genome, I'm hoping like heck that this is an included update instead of created as a new App, like Genome 2. Here is the developer's update status from a few months ago: http://www.whitenoiseaudio.com/2013/10/genome-status/
Since he's adding an audio engine, I wonder if he's considering AudioBus also. I didn't see it mentioned in the link though.
Looks like a modular with midi control will be offered. Hopefully it will be on Audiobus too. Good to see he's taking his time and has beta testers to work out the kinks. It seems fair for some of these new features to be IAP as Genome was previously purely midi.
The UI never really drew me into this one.
The editing screen was frustrating to use, totally subjective ofcourse but I just found it counterintuitive.
Took me awhile to get used to it but once I did Genome just flies and is the best midi editor I've found on iOS. Cubasis is a distant second.
Really hoping that simple updates like an easy way to recall which app track 2 was pointing at (and hopefully which preset) isn't lost in the shuffle of all of these new features. Genome does send midi program changes (which is wonderful!) but most apps don't recognize them (which is awful!).
Genome also suffers, IMO, from some serious ux/UI problems like inconsistent button placement or similar looking buttons doing different things in different contexts. Every time I open genome I feel like I have to relearn it.
Genome was an app I had such high hopes for, as a non-keyboard player to automate those sections of a tune that required chord work or arpeggios. Ultimately it was other apps, like Arpeggionome and SoundPrism Pro (and recently Chordion) that did that work for me. The ROI on Genome for me has been extremely low, and if I recall it was one of the more expensive apps I've purchased.
Hoping the new release helps drive that ROI a bit higher for me.
Idk if it's been asked but does anyone know a timeframe for the update?
+1 for Audiobus as this may be worth another look with the side tab of Audiobus this should integrate nicely into any setup without using the home button repeatedly or sideways swiping and changing all the perameters of my synth by mistake
