If you have not discovered Dan Baker on uTube I highly recommend you look him up. An accomplished working multi-instrumentalist, he shows what can be created professionally using Garageband...

Pete Johns is also pretty darn good with GarageBand working around the 'limitations'
Dan Baker and Pete Johns are experienced musicians, so the instructional value, I believe, is much more than just learning to use GB. I think these guys were doing their thing before computers, so they provide great examples of how to use GarageBand to make more traditional music. Even if you don't use GB, there's a lot of education worth the time of aspiring musicians.
