Nanoloop Aphex cover

Just getting my head around this fantastic app on both IOS and Android. There is some amazing music out there too including sharing of project files for example. Just to show what it's capable of, here is an Aphex cover by Gesceap which I think speaks for itself

    Wow.. sounds very good.

I didn't knew that 'The Tuss' album... sounds incredible..

  • Nanoloops’ simplicity hides it’s true deep potential.

  • So clever, so painfully plinky.

Reminds me of when I bumped into an old high school classmate - “You still listening to that plink plonk crap?” Lol

I wish there was a way to export the midi from these loops (is there?). I find putting tunes together very easy here, but need the notes not the noise...

Not that I've seen so far. Ableton audio clip to midi would do it if you have it

  • I know nothing of Nanoloop, but that is a great track. Drums were bang on!

I just bought Nanoloop because of this guy's music. I'm so impressed by the stuff he makes with this 'limited' app. Bought his albums too,, great stuff..

Agreed - I also enjoyed the stuff by Kpyto on Soundcloud too - on a Nanoloop only label!

. Its limited in comparison with most other apps but having just dived in, there is just something about it that inspires - maybe it's lack of too many choices that encourages experimentation. Love the UI. If I could find one I would go for the Nanoloop 2 cart for my DS too

  • Aphex fan and this is a great cover. Impressive that it’s done in Nanoloop. I’ve many times almost purchased it, but it hasn’t been updated in 4 years and there are reviews claiming some features are broken. Any rumors of an imminent update?

I've not found any broken features as yet... Ps the plocks on this are kick ass. Better than the elektron sample :-0

Yeah.. great app, really smart. I also like the sequencer a lot, it's like launching scenes in Ableton...
