Fairly new to the ipad, i am setting up audiobus with keystage and AUM to support my live rig (yamaha Genos))
I have a small collection, mostly korg gadget and module, and neo soul studio, synthmaster and synth one..
But what are the favorite and must have apps for the power users onhere..
I am interested on learning why..

I entered the world from the same door. I own a Casio Digital Workstation but had a variety of Korgs, Rolands and such over the years. Never anything as cool as a Yamaha Genos.
I'll generalize. The real keyboard players live on the Keyboard Forum:
http://forums.musicplayer.com/ubbthreads.php/forums/18/1/The_Keyboard_Corner
I tried fitting in their and wrote about iPad sizing and decided they were too focused on Hammond B3's war stories and rating top jazz, studio players like Larry Goldings. I prefer not to read about people that are so far beyond my skills.
This forum is a mix of use cases:
Loop Style Music Makers (like Ableton's tools)
Hobbiests that just love putting out tracks in dozens of genres
A few ROM-pler types like you and I
There are a couple threads here where people state the top 10 apps they use the most:
https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/30782/results-top-10-apps-from-forum-users-if-they-could-only-keep-10#latest
and another where they mention apps they wish they could use more effectively:
https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/30872/final-results-what-are-the-top-three-apps-you-wish-you-could-master#latest
That's a good place to start and then look at prices on the iTune Store and try the best:
So, start with the Top Apps and ask questions and/or what App demos on YouTube to help you pick off your next purchase.
@thesoundtestroom pointed me to dozens of must buys.
NOTE: Apps are so cheap you can spend $100 a month and never learn them all. On a desktop you pay $100 for a fair piano like Addictive Keys. PianoTeq costs more...
