how to get that 80’s gated drum sound on ios

What are some of your techniques and apps to get that 80’s reverb sound on ios?
i’ve been using a chain of any drum app->eos reverb-> and eos envolver for the gate.
what do you guys and girls use?

    I don’t particularly like that sound/use it rarely. But IMO one of DDMF Envelopes biggest strength is the gated algorithm.

    Most DAWs have automation and a reverb bad enough to sound like 80s.
    Just automate the reverb level to cut the reverb tail like Phil B)

    yeah, i’m not a huge fan of that sound from the 80’s , but i’ve been feeding some more modern sounds into a gated chain with some interesting results..... i’m always experimenting with old and new sounds and techniques.........

    Almost forgot...
    Kleverb has great built in gate. Probably more flexible than Envelope.

    If you have Cubasis & FX Pack 1, try the Non-linear Reverb.
    It is made to do the gated reverb thingy.
