  • I have to say, overall I'm very happy w Cubasis so far, too... :-) It's working well for the real-life work that I'm doing w/ it, as long as I look out for the limitations discussed in this and other threads. But, I'm still building up tracks and moving songs in from BM2 and Logic, so maybe I haven't seen the worst of it yet... Either way, this isn't a long term solution, though.

Steinberg definitely needs to step up the bug fixes or the user base is going to disappear as fast as it has grown for Cubasis. I know I've been getting interested in picking up Cubase down the line, from seeing Cubasis, so its probably good advertising to keep Cubasis in strong running order.

Maybe the problems stem from a slow reaction to fixing ios 7 related problems?

  • I've had these weird recording glitches since buying the app the day it came out. Loads of apps are aftected but seemingly randomly - record two or eight bars from, say, DM1 and possibly a millisecond of the wav disappears and the timing is thrown out.

But... one way I seemed to fix this is to set the grid 'lock' and quantising to off when recording and then back to 1 bar or whatever straight afterwards. You can tell your wav has gone shitty when you press stop and you see it jump back a little bit from its true ending.

I do hope they sort this out because it is the single obstacle remaining for me to do some clever, wild stuff :-)

  • Hello all,

Regarding the performance issues please read the following announcement:

There are a few observations that might help you.

    Best regards,
    GN
