Can You Make Midi With An Electric Guitar?
Is it possible? If so, then how? Thanks!

Yes, the app is called "MIDI Guitar 2.5" and it's available for desktop and iOS. By far the best pitch to MIDI system I've used, even over hardware solutions.
Thanks so much @Tarekith! You just plug into an AI and good to go? Is there an app for an acoustic?
Yep. I use it with my acoustic all the time too, it's not quite as accurate as with an electric, but you're not bending much with an acoustic anyway. I think they have a free demo, worth a try.
There's always Thumbjam if you don't want to spend $30 on MIDI Guitar. Thumbjam is workable for entering notes, not as fast for live tracking audio to MIDI.
Boom, this is accurate.
May I ask what you want to achieve?
Processing the guitar to sound more like a synth might be a an accurate low-latency option.
I still get people telling me the Fishman Triple Play is better lol. Probably better latency I guess...
A good video of MIDI Guitar.
For the price, MIDI Guitar 2 is an incredible thing that I don't explore enough. I couldn't believe the tracking was so good the first time I tried it. I've heard there were minor tracking improvements in last week's update but havent tested it yet.
Hi @rs2000, I have a guitarist friend in Istanbul and would like to introduce him to midi. He has GarageBand so he would probably just mess with that. Midi Guitar seems perfect for the job. But he only has an acoustic. Can one use the iPad mic for recording an acoustic or does one need an external microphone? Thanks.

The problem with using the iPad Mic is not so much its quality but rather its position: Being further apart from the guitar than a built-in Countryman or whatever microphone means that it will pick up more environment noise and is therefore likely to generate more "false notes". But it's always worth a try :)
Just downloaded (it's free to try with occasional interruptions) and I can immediately see it's working better than the $100 box I bought several years ago.
So the answer to the question seems to be "Yes, with $30 worth of IAP." There are two IAPs, $10 to eliminate the interruptions and $20 to enable MIDI output. I assume after the second IAP that MIDI can be piped into any application. It doesn't seem to be an IAA or AUv3, nor be Audiobus compatible, so the sounds coming from the app seem to be isolated.

@bigcatrik, it says it will drive GarageBand and other iOS apps with virtual midi. Does this answer the Question?

I used an electric guitar with the cheapest iRig input, so the bigger question is what was posed above about the tracking accuracy of an acoustic using the internal mic. I don't have any information on that.
I just got a good result playing an unplugged electric about 2 feet away from the mic. Might have to adjust the noise gate some, but it works. I'd of course check the free demo first before committing.
