Efficient piano AUV3 or MIDI routing/filtering in Garage band?
Greetings. Happy to be aboard the Audiobus. Har har.
I'm looking for a decent AUV3 piano app that's not as resource hungry as Ravenscroft 275. Yes, it sounds amazing, but I would like to be able to run it alongside Audio Damage EOS without pushing my iPad MINI 2 to the brink. It doesn't have to be as hi-fi--this is in a rock band context (guitar, drums, synth, lots of effects).
For context, this is to be controlled by a Linnstrument. I'm running through a modular synth (that's 1 MIDI channel) and need the piano to respond to 5 others, but to reserve the rest for other applications. This is easy to do in AUM, but Ravenscroft is pretty resource hungry. My dream is to add a small sampler app to this arrangement.
I tried Garage Band's piano which is sufficient for my needs sonically, but has no MIDI routing capabilities as far as I can tell. If I'm wrong, please tell me!
TIA.

Beathawk is AUV3 and has a decent piano
Thank you. Is it less CPU intensive than the 275?
I don’t have the Ravenscroft so can’t compare directly. The Beathawk piano runs at about 25% cpu on my 2016 iPad pro.
