Set input gain in AudioBus?
How do I set input gain in AudioBus? When AUM is hooked up to AudioBus, I can’t set the input gain there. This means that all my recordings are way too quiet. The only way I can see around it is to not use AB. If I use AUM alone I can set this up to 100%. Here’s the problem:
I’m using a K-Mix, which doesn’t disable input gain settings like most mixers do. Hence the problem.

It would be great to give us control of the input gain please @Michael
I have a Behringer UMC404 and it also gets stuck at 75% with Audiobus running and I get the same message in AUM when I try to adjust the Input gain to 100%. I have to not use Audiobus to get it to work properly.
Next update!
Fantastic! Thanks @Michael You are indeed the man 😎
😁
Oh man!
Try putting AudioShare in the input of an Audio lane in Audiobus., while sending the output to AUM. It seems that you can control the mic level in AudioShare.
Open the AudioShare recorder and select your USB device for the input. The big fader controls the input level. Make sure monitoring is on.
It seems to be working ok for me, but I cannot say if it will get your mic signal to a proper level.
But it is something to try while waiting for the next Audiobus update.
I still can’t change the level in AUM, and it still says 75%. I am assuming that doesn’t apply unless AUM is actually controlling the input level.
I’ll try that. AudioShare will let you move that slider even outside AB. It resets itself when you leave the app though.
Could it’s level be saved with the preset?
