animoog , my old new friend (iphone version broke on iPad)
I'm looking at these patches on albaectasy website cuz the demos sound rad, has anyone picked these old guys up?
I've heard some other demos and they seem good too but I'm really drawn to these after hearing the demos.. Lots it chill complex sounds

I never really used animoog too much until recently even tho I've had it forever, but I'm really loving its warm, raw electricity buzz sound that's still able to be chill and tame, haven't found anything quite as satisfying for this kinda vibe on iOS.... I am not really into the harsh sounds which at first I thought was the way of the ani but I found out I was wrong lol and this synth really can do great ambient downtempo stuff quit well
Also is funbox and iTunes still the only way to install sounds and timbres ???
Also my iPhone version won't work on my iPad pro anymore, I only get a quarter of the screen no matter what I try and the keys don't trigger the synth, I don't have the iPad version

Yes

The iPad version has been on sale pretty frequently, at least the past year.
I recommend the iPad version. I used the iPhone for a good while before getting the iPad version, and I am glad I did.
Also, try letting Moog know about your issue. You never know, they may be willing to fix it, even though it is the iPhone version having trouble on an iPad.
Sweet, well ima give the iTunes transfer a try, doesn't seem as complicated as I've heard people talk about... But I'll find out 🤣
Ya deff gonna wait for the next sale, I keep skipping it cuz the iPhone version was working but now I really wanna have the real deal, especially since it's not working... Hopefully soon!
I have a fair amount of 3rd party presets on my Animoog for iPad and never have used iFunBox, only iTunes. Never had a problem with it. Just make sure to back up your folders.
Among two of my favourites: Luftrum 8 https://www.luftrum.com/luftrum8/ and MSL Mbari whale timbres https://discchord.com/presets/id471638724/msl-mbari-whaletimbres
I was not able to get these Luftrum presets/Timbres into my Animoog. I gave up. Running on Mac and iTunes file sharing crap.
It's not complicated at all. Just hook up the iPad, go into iTunes and look up the app from the list. People like to exaggerate about it as if it's some kind of unspeakable horror, but people are just so lazy these days.
nice presets what a synth!! anyone got anymore? stabs and skanks rather than weee’s and wooosh’s?
Oh man those sound nice!! Deff grabbing those today!!!
@brambos it sounds pretty strait forward, I've been around longer than WiFi and Bluetooth transfer so I'm sure I can get it! I just haven't fired my MacBook up in a while lol thanks iPad 😆
Been there. Done that. Didn’t work.
Did you click on my link?
It is for entire timbre and preset libraries I designed.
iFUNBOX
If I can't get it with iTunes I'll give the ol box of fun a whirl!
Thanks for the links, I’ll give the ifunbox a try a bit later, love me some AniMoog ...
Dang , I need to grab those presets from the links up above!
😎
I must be a bit paranoid but a “free” app with access to your files? No, thanks.
I’ve transferred presets with iTunes a few times and never had problems. That or learn some sound design (I should). I am actually cleaning and reorganizing my presets. I’ll see if I can take some screenshots of the process.
And where is that Animoog update @GeertBevin 😊
