Yep. Now lets you quantize recordings to bars when recording via Audiobus.

after updating Samplr today, BM2 strangely decided to appear my output list. I thought I had just overlooked BM2 update on the App Store, but alas, it doesn't yet work in Audiobus. Just sits there catchin zzz's. Oh Intua, why must you taunt me? Don't know if Samplr update had something to do with it, but it's the only known change to the ipad... Hadn't even reboot it in 2 days.
But since this is a Samplr thread, love the app, works even better. Am I just missing the panning function? I feel like it's a pretty glaring omission at this point if it's not my own fault for overlooking it every time I use it. Ah we'll, I generally use it with Audiobus now so I suppose I can just pan it from another app.
I vaguely recall they've done this in the past.
There's a quite serious bug in this version of Samplr when using it in tandem with Cubasis via Audiobus. The master volume control in Samplr has no effect on the volume levels sent to Cubasis so there's no way to stop digital clipping of the audio signal in Cubasis. To see what I mean load the first demo project Tic Tac Toe.
I wish Samplr can add solo/mute buttons. That could be very helpful.
BTW, how the 'Quantize to Bars' works?
If you hold down the play button, each track has a play/pause button that will mute track but no designated solo button.
anyone else having problems recording into Samplr using Audiobus with apps that are triggered from from virtual MIDI? I mentioned this in the PPG Wavemapper thread but I noticed this is an issue with other apps as well. a few examples:
Musix Pro (Virtual MIDI) + Grain Science > Samplr
Orphion (Virtual MIDI) + PPG Wavemapper > Samplr
so I place the virtual MIDI apps along with the synth I would like to use in the INPUT slots of audiobus. samplr in the OUTPUT. then I switch to the virtual MIDI instrument/app and hit the REC button for Samplr in the audiobus control panel. start playing notes, hit REC again to stop and switch to Samplr. nothing gets recorded but a flat waveform.
I'm curious if anyone else can replicate this so I can forward the issue to the dev. Soundprism seems to play nice, but Musix Pro and Orphion both do not work.
[Orphion]--->[Grain Science]=>[ ]=>[Samplr] works fine for me.
I don't have Grain Science but so far I've been able to use orphion to play Animoog, ms-20, drum jam, and thumb jam into Samplr without any problems with recorded sound. I've definitely gotten a little noise, but adjusting the buffer solved that
thanks guys. maybe it's Musix pro then. gonna try to reboot and see if it changes anything.
Is there a way to quantize the notes that I play? I enjoy the randomness of some sounds that get recorded, but would like drum or rhythm parts to be tighter.
@hypoetical Did you figure out the problem? Have you updated to the newest version of Musix Pro?
@BrettThePark unfortunately, never did, I have the latest version of Musix Pro. I even tried Animoog and Sir Sampleton with the same result. it feels like Samplr is trying to record the output of Musix Pro. Sound Prism and Orphion seem to work fine. so I'm not sure if it's Samplr or Musix Pro that is behaving weird.
