Some @sshole put a copyright notice on this video I made. I responded that the clips he was claiming were in the Internet Archive as public domain, and he subsequently dropped the complaint. But if he hadn't dropped it, Youtube would have nuked my video, and for no good reason.
What i have sometimes wondered is whether public speeches or similar, not intended as art, would be considered copyrighted?
