Grabbing audio clips inside ios

trying to grab audio clips of say, spoken word from youtube or wherever, saving the clips to the iPhone. equivalent on pc would be ClipGrab or sound recorder
There's no app to do this for all audio. There might be apps that allow you to record/rip certain sites, but they seem to get shut down after a while. One option might be to use Screen Recording, and extract the audio from the video... I think it's only mono and I'm not sure if some apps can block being recorded.
