Colossus Pianos...uh, how long until my download starts?
Just bought one of these and it’s been ‘Preparing Package’ for 10 minutes. Just curious if it normally takes this long?

A long long time!
When I download a CrudeByte's App I start it at bedtime and play it with it in the morning when I wake. It takes 4-8 hours depending upon there overall dataset size. Any disturbance to the download and it re-starts fro the beginning. They seem to throttle downloads to a trickle. I did notice that a "restore purchases" when I bought a new iPhone seemed to take a lot less time... I'm guessing because I had 5 products purchased and they downloaded in parallel.
But it' definitely worth the wait sound quality wise. But be advised it's so large it makes for a very touchy AUv3 app. Don't expect to run multiple copies of the App. The biggest piano won't work in any of my DAW's due to size.
I finally got it after multiple tries and reconnects. Once it got started, it downloaded pretty quickly. Probably took 45 minutes for the upright.
