But after 3 years of pretty much daily use, the quality of the app, the continued support and plenty of added functionality through updates I would really like to be able to show appreciation (IAP, donation link or whatever).

    +1

Maybe @j_liljedahl / Kymatica could setup a paypal donation link :) But i suspect that an IAP is more convient for most users, even though apple’s share (30%) is higher than paypal’s (0.29% + 0.30$)

    30%!!...... ???

  • I want an AUM t-shirt.
    Or baseball cap.

  • I’d be fine with an IAP. AUM is by far my most used app.

  • Same here, I use AUM 24/7 I'll gladly pay for this update

Yep. Someone’s gotta pay all those App Store reviewers to reject AU app approvals.

  • 30 effing percent!!! I heard they’re getting 50% from the media makers/mags/news deal they just announced. Great scam if you can get in on it. Amazes me how much love indie developers give to Apple and NONE of it’s reciprocated.

And then another 50% of what’s left to mister taxman :D

Yep, that's true. But then we have great health care here in Sweden!

  • Hi! AUM is my favorite and most useful app!

Please add the ability to customize icons for different channels, sometimes you can get confused in monotonous au icons.

  • edited April 2019

The coolest thing ever for a future AUM update would be the ability to save individual channel strips and load them into any project.
    For example .
Sunrizer au> adverb > bleass delay >low pass filter.
Save that as a strip and open it up any other channel.
Also to be able to duplicate / paste a channel would be so sweet

  • Also up there (or down there) in coolest thing ever territory would be to be able to predetermine the loop length in record mode- and have the loop play straight away whilst muting the input - a bit like a looper.

...and social security, free public library (lend books & records & movies for almost free), clean tapwater in our houses that cost small pennies, a functional public clean of our streets, something called ”allmansright” that means that everyone can visit the woods, the mountains and the fields without feeling threath from the owners (and you can pickup blueberries and lingon/hjortron for free, everywhere...

    Sweden is fantastic!!

Sweden is lovely. It would be my top-pick if I had to move somewhere else.

Yes! A new feature to open a prior saved project and have it "add as extra tracks" rather than total replacement for a running config would work too. Of course, we have no idea what this would mean to implement.

This ones just come to apeMatrix in a small way. You can save presets per matrix so a single instance of apeMatrix can save and recall 3 separate device chains. :)

If AUM could come up with a channel strip approach and AudioBuss something similar for multiple chains of those stubborn old IAA's that refuse to go AUv3 (but have those other AB goodies such as State Saving), it would make the platform so much more pleasurable and another step closer to the flexibility of the desktop. AUv3 is the real playground though, as that can provide inter-app modularity that's hard to match on the desktop without booting up a DAW.

    Midi clock slave :p

When released, AudioBus’s sync options will make it an excellent hub for apps like AUM that support Link but not midi clock. I’ve been testing AudioBus receiving midi clock and then passing that along to Link, which then handles AUM’s tempo sync. Results have been promising so far.

  • I’d prefer for AUM to handle it all.

Yes! With positive/negative latency offset correction, like in Groove Rider. Works perfectly.

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.

This is great news. AUM and apeMatrix in the bag ref granular channel strip/matrix device chain saving, now let's hope @Michael can deliver something similar for AudioBus for those IAA chains with state saving capabilities (or IAA/AU mixed chains).
