Was the metronome one beat out while you recorded the overdub?
Yeah its a basic overdubber, what I should have done was turn the met off and just played with the track, you also have to let the track play all the way through, I think the dev will address this though, I would never overdub with this anyway, but its a nice guide for working stuff out, I really like the multizone thing though
Amazing demo. I'm breathless. Thanks!
Yeah, the multizone plus layering looks good.
Cool app! I just bought it. The only problem I'm noticing is it seems like it's missing the very beginning of the attack on the sounds...even with attack all the way down. It's only noticeable on sounds like pianos and drums (instruments with a sharp attack). Is anyone else hearing this? Or, am I doing something wrong?
Wow, I think I will have to try this one for sure. It looks very powerful. I recently got bs-16i, Would there be a way to move soundfonts from that into this?
@DexterTragic and app dev...Same here, unfortunately; tried several from the included soundfonts with effects dry/off...iPad4 iOS 7.0.4
@mmp & @DexterTragic make sure the modulator indicator is all the way at bottom left on the Modulator Grid. That's the only neutral position.
Yep, that's among what I meant by all effects dry/off. Still have the soft/slow attack.
Brilliant video Doug, going to have to give this a try. Hope you're getting some commission somewhere because I wouldn't have bought this otherwise :-)
How about midi file play back? Accurate? is there a general midi font with it or do we get one from Thomas ect.?
Oops, I did it again! Well, now I know what I will be doing later tonight! It should be fun.
Hi Dexter/mmp,
I am coordinating with Dexter to reproduce the attack issue he is having. Has anybody else noticed this? I cannot reproduce it here on my ipad. With the attack slider down there is no delay whatsoever (at least I can't notice it). Can you tell me which on soundfont and which presets it is noticeable?
Thanks.

Dexter/mmp,
Yes, there was a bug! It is fixed and on its way to App Store. Thanks a lot for pointing it out. Nobody has pointed it out except you and mmp on the Audiobus forum. It was there from the beginning. High points to you both!!! The fix is on the way to App Store as I write this.

Azfar

In that case ignore the facebook message I sent you...
Thanks Azfar...I really appreciate you working with us to figure this out!
And thanks to Doug for the fantastic demos you've been providing!!! I can't tell you how valuable they have been to me.
Curses, i am having one hell of a time importing soundfonts! I have no problem opening the same fonts in bs-16i, however I do not even get a soundfont pro option to open in? Using safari i can just download and open them right into bs-16i no unzip or anything usually. Is there a way to get them in other than the xtra money to purchase goodreader?
I guess that the bug is what is making the pianos sound so badly? Looking forward to the fix for this and thanks for getting right on it. I have never heard pianos quite like these.
I finally got soundfront pro to open a sfz file directly from safari by the way. Im not sure why this one did but the others did not? Still it did not help the pianos, I will just wait for the update.
Loving this update! Coupled with the YouCompose app is a blast!
Thanks Azfar, that is good news! Your replies happened during the night here, which is why I didn't reply earlier...and high points to you too for being on the ball and finding a fix so quickly!
Is there a way to import midi files to this?
Hi guys, my very first comment!
Just in case you weren't aware ,Audioshare zips & unzip files. Just unzip sf files & open in....
Thanks Bitmapper that worked like a charm and might come in handy for other things as well!
Any update on when apple will make the upgrade available fo this? It really needs it badly.
Any day now...in the hands of Apple Review
I want to add my thanks to Doug for his YT tutorials - Very clear and helpful stuff - really good for informing the potential purchaser.
